		<description>I totally agree with your assessment of self education. To quote Samuel Johnson on self education he said that in college one has to study fr0m books by what some professor requires however , when selecting your own subject of interest one will be more apt to retain what he is reading. I have followed this theory for yrs. and I believe it has served me well through out my life.
  A degree placed in someone&#039;s hand does not indicate instant knowledge on all subjects for the rest of their life.
 It has been proven that more is retained by someone who chooses what he decides to read than what a teacher or professor decides for that individual to study.</description>
