		<description>I think you are absolutely correct. While there&#039;s strong evidence that a company that does invest in training of its employees maintains a strong competitive edge while fostering happier and more skilled employees, U.S. companies don&#039;t appear to care much. That&#039;s not the case everywhere. In India, for example, many companies have extensive, internal educational programs through which they invest heavily in their employees. The result? They are far more competitive than their U.S. counterparts in many ways and that divide is growing.</description>

		<description>I believe people are too afraid to invest in someone who will likely only be around for a year or two. The era of people working for the same company for an extended period of time is over. Even the military is having this problem. Someone else is always willing to pay them more since they didn&#039;t have to foot the bill for the training.</description>
